Ever lament the fact that Halloween is usually only fun for kids or people with kids? Well, the single dog parents among us (as well as anyone else who loves dogs and Halloween!) can get in on the fun at Pampered Pooch Playground‘s annual Woof-N-Treat doggie Halloween party on October 30th!

Sidewalk Dog will be there as a proud sponsor, and we’ve heard through the grapevine that the doggie daycare experts over at PPP are planning quite the shindig.

Not only will there be a full-on doggy carnival—complete with fun activities and games, a costume contest hosted by Staci Matthews of KS95’s Moon and Staci show, photos by the fabulous and talented pet picture-taker Sarah Beth Photography, and hourly prize giveaways—but guests will get to flex their philanthropic muscles as well: 100 percent of the entrance fees will go to The Pet Project, which helps people keep their pets by providing pet food and basic supplies to those who are struggling and provides connections to basic veterinary care and information on finding pet-friendly housing.

Says PPP owner Keith Miller, “It should be a dogtastic time!” After all, dogs have always known that tricks and treats go hand-in-hand.
